SMART11 METHOD
Develop players
individually
A three-level course for coaches. You learn to analyse players and turn your analysis into training and conversations.
Level 1 costs €1,799, or pay in 3 instalments with Klarna. Worth 7 KNVB licence points. In Dutch or English.
Do you recognise this?
You know there is more in your players. Without a framework you give feedback on feel.
You say it, they nod
You see a mistake and say something. The next week your player does it again. You lack the language to name exactly what goes wrong.
Same player, same mistake
You explained, showed and corrected it. Nothing changes. You do not know if it is the player or your explanation.
You see it, they do not
You know what the player should do. Turning that into something every player understands and does is a craft of its own.
How Level 1 works
Duration: 2 to 4 months. You work in SmartCoach, which you use for free during the course.
Module 1: the method
What Game Actions are, how football roles work and how you analyse a player’s decisions and execution in SmartCoach.
Module 2: match themes
The best response in the situations with the most impact: build-up, 1v1, depth, crosses and long balls.
Module 3: from analysis to training
Mini-lessons per Game Action, drills per theme and players who learn to analyse themselves.
