Within the Smart11 platform you can easily share matches, analyses, playlists, or panels with other users in your club. Sharing helps teams collaborate efficiently, ensures everyone has access to relevant materials, and allows coaches, analysts, and players to work together seamlessly.
This page explains the different types of content you can share, the available permission levels, and how to share items either with individual users or entire teams.
What You Can Share #
1. Sharing Matches #
Sharing a match allows other users to access the full match footage.
Once shared, they can:
- Watch the match
- Create their own analyses
Shared users cannot modify the match metadata unless they have Editor permissions (see below).
2. Sharing Analyses #
Sharing an analysis gives others access to your completed work.
Depending on their permission level, they can:
- Viewer: Watch the analysis, inspect tags and clips, and use it for study or feedback
- Editor: Make adjustments to the analysis, edit tags, add/remove clips, or further share it with others
This is especially useful when workflows are distributed among multiple analysts or coaches.
3. Sharing Playlists #
Playlists can be shared to distribute selected clips—for example, highlights, improvement points, or tactical examples.
Recipients can:
- Viewer: Watch the playlist
- Editor: Modify the playlist content, rename it, or share it with others
Playlists are ideal for communicating key moments to coaches or players.
4. Sharing Panels #
A panel can also be shared to help others run their own analyses using your setup.
Users receiving a shared panel can:
- Viewer: Use the panel to run analyses but cannot modify or save over it
- Editor: Fully modify the panel, edit the layout, and share it further
Panels are powerful tools for maintaining consistent analysis structures across a club.
Permission Levels: Viewer vs. Editor #
When sharing any item in Smart11, you can choose one of two permission types:
Viewer #
A Viewer can:
- Access the shared item (match, analysis, playlist, or panel)
- Create new analyses based on shared matches or panels
A Viewer cannot:
- Edit metadata (e.g., rename an item)
- Modify your analysis, playlist, or panel
- Share the item with others
This role is ideal for players or coaches who only need to review content.
Editor #
An Editor has full rights to the shared item. They can:
- Modify the item (rename, edit content, update settings)
- Share it with additional users
- Use it across all their workflows
This role is suitable for analysts, staff members, or anyone collaborating directly on content creation.
Sharing With Users or Teams #
You can share content in two ways:
1. Share With Individual Users #
Select specific users in your club and assign them Viewer or Editor permissions.
This option is ideal when sharing items with:
- A specific coach
- One or more analysts
- A small group of players
2. Share With an Entire Team #
Instead of selecting users one-by-one, you can choose a whole team within your club.
All members of that team will receive access with the permission level you select.
This is useful for:
- Making match footage available to an entire squad
- Distributing playlists to all players
- Providing staff members a shared analysis panel
