Our story

The story of Smart11 starts in 2020, when we founded Impact Performance Coaching. Later, we changed our name to Impact Football Company, or Impact FC. For three and a half years, our only service was the one-on-one tactical coaching that we still offer today.

Our clients thrived on the attention to detail and one-on-one feedback that our individual video-analysis and coaching provides. But making this super-detailed tactical analysis is very time-consuming, so this business was difficult to scale.

So we needed a way to provide as many ambitious football players as possible with the insights you get from analyzing your own performances in a structured way. And that’s how we came up with Smart11.

Smart11 is the #1 self-analysis app for ambitious players worldwide to analyze their own performances. We’ve put all our years of experience coaching professional football players into this app, so you can get the insights you need to boost your football intelligence.

Since we founded Smart11, we have added more and more resources to our platform so that not only every player, but also every coach can increase their knowledge on individual tactics. We have created SmartCoach, our easy-to-use analysis tool for coaches, and we offer courses and workshops to ambitious coaches.

Smart11’s Football Intelligence

Football is a complex sport. We try to make football as simple as possible by structuring the game into smaller and smaller parts. The smallest part of a football game is what we call a Game Action. This is simply a player performing a football action.

We believe football is basically just a series of Game Actions for every player. Players can increase their impact on the pitch by improving their decision-making, and by improving the way they execute their Game Actions.

This is always the core at everything we do at Smart11. Every action a player makes can be analyzed by the Choice (“Was this Game Action the correct choice or should I have performed a different Game Action in this situation?”) and the Execution (“Which part of this Game Action contributed towards achieving/not achieving my goal in this situation?”).

Asking players these questions in a structured manner leads to increased game intelligence and better performance on the pitch. This is exactly what we do in our Elite Coaching, and in our app Smart11.
