In these sessions, you will discover how individual performances influence the results 100%. While this may seem obvious, training and discussions often focus on the team level, which can hinder the development of individual players.
In these workshops, you will learn how to analyze, improve, en coach a player’s actions in detail. We will zoom in on individual performances and provide practical exercises and in-depth insights, so that by the end, you can effectively elevate your players’ performance.
These workshops are specifically designed for coaches and analysts of football clubs.

Workshop 1: Focusing on the individual
In the workshop “Focusing on the Individual,” you will learn what it means to concentrate solely on the individual player. Through a series of practical exercises, you will gain insight into how every choice made has a significant impact and how the execution of each football action has consequences.
Why is it important?
As a coach, you often look at the team as a whole. By fully focusing on the individual, you will see that this perspective can help you influence team performance more effectively and easily.
What will you gain?
After the workshop, you will be able to respond more effectively to individual performances. Additionally, you will gain insight into how personal decisions affect team results, which will assist you in coaching and guiding players better.
Workshop 2: The power of a game action
During the workshop ‘The Power of a Game Action,’ you will learn what a Game Action is. Through a series of practical exercises, you will analyze three crucial Game Actions that recur during the buildup in every match, down to the smallest detail.
Why is it important?
To successfully execute a buildup, you must perform certain recurring Game Actions. The better you execute these, the greater the chance of a successful buildup.
What will you gain?
After completing this workshop, you will be able to recognize, analyze, and effectively apply the three Game Actions in your team’s gameplay.
Workshop 3: Analyzing individually
During the workshop “Analyzing Individually,” you will learn how to analyze the Game Actions you learned in Workshop 2 using our unique analysis tool, SmartCoach.
Why is it important?
By analyzing a match with SmartCoach, you will quickly gain the insights needed to improve a player’s performance. SmartCoach follows the exact same structure that Impact FC uses when analyzing top players.
What will you gain?
After this workshop, you will be able to analyze the three Game Actions in detail. This will enable you to coach your players more effectively and enhance their performance within the team through targeted, individual guidance.
Workshop 4: Training individual tactics
During the workshop “Training Individual Tactics,” we will take to the field and demonstrate how to translate the knowledge you’ve learned into training sessions.
Why is it important?
By structuring parts of your training to specifically improve one action, you ensure that a player recognizes it, trains intensely, and can quickly apply it in their game.
What will you gain?
After completing this workshop, you will know how to effectively integrate the Game Actions into training formats and coach them specifically. This will enable you to achieve better results by enhancing the focus on individual performances.

Also, I am a teacher for the courses and programs offered at Impact. I derive the most satisfaction from moments when a player or student gains a new insight, which is why I ask (a lot) of questions, try to empathize with the student’s practice at their club, and encourage them to think progressively.
