Course content
Impact Course
In the Impact Course you’ll learn all the Game Actions that empower your players to dominate the field. You’ll learn how to optimize positioning – both in attack and defense – and how to instill purposeful attacking and aggressive defending while maintaining full control of the game.
The course includes 44 lessons (online) led by an experienced instructor, who has been working as a tactical performance coach with elite players for years. It kicks off with a 2.5-hour introductory workshop. Each session lasts between 75 and 90 minutes. As a student, you’ll have to dedicate the same amount of time for making analysis as a home assignment.

What you will learn
By the end of the course, you will be able to:
- Identify all Game Actions handled in this course.
- Recognize the consequences of individual choices and develop an objective, well-reasoned judgment about them.
- Identify the key executions that influence the outcomes of those actions.
- Determine how those executions can be performed to achieve the intended goal of each action.
- Guide players in understanding their choices within an action, helping them make the best decision and execute the action optimally.
How you will learn
Learning Method
To improve individual impact, you will engage in active, structured reflection and analysis. At regular intervals, you’ll study a new Game Action through examples featuring some of the players we work with, as well as other top-level professionals. After learning to identify the new Game Action, you will analyze footage of similar top players—or, when available and of sufficient quality, footage of the players you coach yourself. This approach challenges you to think critically and independently, helping you develop deep and lasting insights.
SmartCoach
Throughout the course, you will work extensively with our proprietary analysis tool, SmartCoach. This platform allows you to analyze matches from an individual perspective, focusing on every choice and execution. By consistently using Smart Coach, you’ll quickly develop a heightened awareness of the decisions, consequences, and optimal executions involved in individual actions.

I derive the most satisfaction from moments when a player or student gains a new insight, which is why I ask (a lot) of questions, try to empathize with the student’s practice at their club, and encourage them to think progressively.
